Retirement Planning Guide

Main Points to Consider

I am frequently asked for a retirement planning guide, not only for retirement financial planning, but for all the other areas that have to be considered to enable you enjoy a happy, active, and fulfilling retirement, that’s right for you.

Why have a Retirement Planning Guide?

Generally people are living longer and leading more active lives in retirement. A person who begins working at 25 and retires at 65 may spend half as long again, 20+ years, in retirement.

It is important for you to take control of your retirement planning and make decisions regarding:

  • Retirement coaching - help in figuring out what works for you, and how to get there!

  • Early retirement - Why wait? Is it possible for you?

  • Retirement Planning Tool - I really like this holistic retirement planning checklist - based on extensive research.

  • Retirement financial planning - OK, this is often the "biggie" in people's minds.

  • Retirement jobs - Isn't that a contradiction? Maybe, for now. But - what if you have an opportunity to embrace "work" that you really love?

  • Retirement hobbies - There is a thin line between a hobby and a job - at least when it is something that really keeps your "mojo" going.

  • Best places to retire - This is often the most attractive aspect of Retirement Planning. Is there a place out there that will give you the lifestyle and environment you desire?

  • Retirement Speeches - Do you know, sometimes when you consider your Retirement Speech, it can make it very clear to YOU - the steps that you need to take in planning your retirement!
  • Executive Retirement Planning has some unique features. And it’s not just about money. In my experience most executives will already have considered their retirement financial planning needs.

You will find information and stories on these topics - and more - in this website. The stories are based on my own research and experience, and that of clients in my retirement coaching practice.

Retirement Financial Planning

It is more important than ever for you to think about retirement financial planning. Where will your income come from when you retire? Your State Pension will provide you with a basic level of retirement income, provided you qualify.

When using a retirement planning guide you will need to decide, among other things, if you have enough money to retire, and if not where your additional income will come from. (Read - Retirement Jobs
